Bishop Workforce was founded by Lachlan Bishop, who came through construction the same way many of the people we place do: starting as a labourer, working his way through the trades and eventually managing labour hire operations for other companies before deciding to do it differently.

We know what works on site because we’ve been there. We operate locally, applying our deep construction experience to deliver hands-on management and a clear focus on reliability.

We supply general and skilled labour, plant operators, traffic controllers and site establishment crews to building and civil construction projects. With active operators currently on site around the ACT, we have the proven capacity to support your team. Every worker is personally interviewed, rigorously vetted, and properly onboarded. We attend site inductions, follow up actively and stay involved until the job is done.

We meet every worker before they start

We take the guesswork out of recruitment. Every person we send to site has been interviewed, capability checked and briefed on the role. We don’t rely on resumes or five-minute phone calls.

We attend inductions

Wherever possible, we’re on site for worker inductions. If we can’t be there, we follow up immediately to confirm everything went smoothly. Our workers are our responsibility until they’re inducted and working.

Focus on reliability

Consistency matters more than volume. We’d rather supply fewer workers who show up ready and stay on the job than focus on short-term placements, ensuring long-term stability for your site.

Support upskilling

When workers want to expand their capabilities, we help. We’ve funded tickets for workers looking to move into plant operations or new trade areas because investing in people we trust builds a stronger, more capable workforce for the long haul.
